Eerie photo of Rex Heuermann emerges nine years after commuter unknowingly snapped photo of LISK suspect on train

A REDDITOR inadvertently shared a photo of Gilgo Beach murder suspect Rex Heuermann on social media nine years before his shocking arrest.

Heuermann, 60, was snapped by an unnamed commuter on the Long Island Railroad, sipping on a can of beer in a brown paper bag while reading on a tablet.

The user blurred out any identifying information before posting the screenshot on Reddit, writing: “Nine years ago I made this dumb post about being scared of getting fat and unknowingly posted this picture of Rex Hauermann (sic).”

The original image was shared on March 9, 2015, showing Heuermann wearing reading glasses as he looked down.

“Me in 10 years if I stay at CVS and continue to eat fried food all day,” read the original caption.

Redditors were rattled by the shocking post, asking the user if he realized that he had taken Heuermann’s picture when news of his arrest broke last July.
